Dr. Evan Deckelbaum obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science in 2009 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009 from Northeastern University Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating, he spent six years practicing physical therapy in New York City where he was clinic supervisor. He continues to further his education with continuing education courses as well as attending lectures at Hospital for Special Surgery and NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Deckelbaum is an NSCA- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with experience treating many different populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and athletes. Evan has a diverse skill set incorporating principles, philosophies, and techniques from Maitland, Mulligan, McKenzie, and Active Release into treatment programs.
Evan continues to enhance his knowledge in physical therapy by being a member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. As an athlete throughout his life, Evan continues to play recreational football with proceeds from the games going to charity. He now is happy to take on his new role as a father.
