Daniel Prata’s commitment to excellence as a physical therapist is both professional and personal. Daniel Prata decided to become a physical therapist after his father suffered an accident with dangerous chemicals which caused severe burns to his body. Daniel witnessed firsthand the importance of the physical therapy team in his father’s recovery. This life changing experience led Daniel to enroll at Seton Hall University in their seven year physical therapy program which would earn him a combined Bachelors degree in Biology and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2006. Daniel’s clinical experiences in pediatrics with multiple disabled children at the A. Harry Moore School in Jersey City NJ, and in outpatient orthopedics at Sportscare, Trinitas Hospital, and Performance Rehabilitation earned him the Nicholas DeProspo Award for his outstanding service in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.
After graduate school Daniel continued his work specializing in Orthopedic Manual Therapy at Performance Rehabilitation for 3 years. During this time Daniel earned his COMT designator as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist though the Maitland Australian Physiotherapy seminars.
Daniel is currently a chairperson of the American Physical Therapy Association- NJ chapter Communications Committee, and has future aspirations in completing his certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), as well as obtaining his fellowship with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
Daniel Prata PT, DPT is the Co-Owner of Forward Motion Physical Therapy in Clifton and Fairfield NJ along with Hanna Vazquez PT. Together they strongly believe in treating every patient as if they were their own family in helping them move forward with their recovery

Hanna Vazquez is the Director and part Owner of Forward Motion Physical Therapy located in Clifton NJ and Fairfield NJ. Hanna Vazquez brings over 14 years of physical therapy experience to her private practice. She graduated from the University of East London, England in 1995 With a BSc Honors in Physiotherapy. She completed an Advanced Masters in Manual Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2003 from Touro College, Bayshore, NY. Hanna Vazquez also obtained the certification as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist ( COMT) from the Maitland Seminars in 2003.Hanna Vazquez is also a Physical Therapy Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) deemed by the American Physical Therapy Association, 2008 .
Prior to forming Forward Motion Physical Therapy Hanna Vazquez completed a two year residency program in London, England, before moving to the United States. In the US, Hanna worked for the Visiting Nurse Services of New York for two years providing Home Care before going to Albert Einstein Hospital a division of Montefiore Medical center for two years where she was a Senior Advanced Clinician. Hanna then went to work for the Australian Physiotherapy Centers as an Advanced Clinician and obtain her COMT. Hanna taught at Touro College Manhattan Campus in Orthopedics as a lab assistant for one year. She worked at Performance Rehabilitation and High Mountain Health before opening her own place.
Hanna continues to stay current with the most up to date evidence practices and in the near future will be sitting to obtain her Fellowship with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.
